I am Dr. Tom Barbereau, a social scientist with a keen interest in emerging technologies and the dynamics of innovation. I hold an M.Sc. in Science & Technology Studies, University of Edinburgh and Ph.D. in Information Systems Management, University of Luxembourg.

Having successfully collaborated and published with lawyers, mathematicians, and computer scientists, my strength lies in cross-disciplinary collaboration, to find logical relations between topics, and to take apart socio-technological controversies.

Recently, I worked on the governance of blockchain-based organisations (DAOs), the rise and failures of metaverse's, and the construction of self-sovereign identity (SSI) models.
